The Top 10 Returns — The Best Racing Games

Between my buddy Chett getting married and Memorial Day weekend, it's been a busy month, but I'm very pleased to finally squeeze in one significant update before we move into June. During the course of research for the Top 10 Racers, I've discovered many titles that I originally overlooked on my greatest games lists for the NES and SNES, including Bump 'N' Jump and Top Gear. If I didn't have so much fun playing all these games, this feature would have been wrapped up a whole lot earlier. Alas, running this site is hard work. Enjoy!

Video Update — Contra III

Yowzer, it's been about three weeks since my last update. I've been a little busy, but please keep checking back, because this site remains an enduring project; who knows if it will ever be complete to my satisfaction! I know that probably sounds like the typical BS you see from other sites, but I ask you: How many retro video game sites do you follow that are 100% run by one person? (By all means point them out, I'd be happy to expand my list of recommended sites.) As always, you can reach me here.

Moving right along. The Contra series remains one of my all-time favorites, whether it's on the NES, SNES, Genesis, or even the DS. Today, I finally started to add some exta value to my SNES list, and you can now find gameplay shots and a totally rad passive speed run video for Contra III.
